Football 101 and Virtual Training
For Parents and Kids to get involved with Football together!

Beaumont Football 101: Virtual Google Hangout Clinics
DATES: June 9, June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7, July 14 Starts @ 7pm
These coaching sessions will be a football primer for our existing players and others who want to learn! The sessions will be approximately 30-45 minutes in length and will give participants a greater understanding of the various rules, alignments and player responsibilities that they can expect to see in minor football. Every session will be delivered through Google Hangouts and will be recorded and available to access online at any time.
Session 1&4: Defence
- Rules
- Basic alignment: 3-4, 4-3, 5-2 (defensive fronts)
- 12 player position responsibilities (video examples)
Session 2&5: Offence
- Rules
- Basic alignment: 15 personnel, 24 personnel
- 12 player position responsibility (video examples)
Session 3&6: Special Teams
- Rules
- Alignment
- Kick Off/Kick Return
- Punt/Punt Return
- Convert/Convert Block
- 12 player position responsibility (video examples)
Six Week Virtual Training Sessions - Delivered by Aaldrest T-Fitness
These training sessions will have a multi-sport focus and help participants maintain or improve their fitness at home. The sessions will be uploaded online and available to access at any time for all registered participants. They will include:
- Body weight training (no equipment needed)
- High intensity interval training
- Plyometric training
- Session focused on improvement of cardio, agility and strength
